Window Films installed for Google UK Ltd
The Window Film Company ® were contacted by Google to install various types of window film in their Central London Offices.
The majority of the work carried out was full colour printing onto frosted window films which was then applied onto their glass partitions. The images used included famous London landmarks such as Big Ben and Eros. Images of London Buses and Taxis as well as Panoramic scenes were also used.
The London bus image was a massive 7m wide x 2.3m high and our printing technology still enable to image to stay looking crystal clear.
Full Colour Printing onto frosted window films works so well because the opaque nature of the window film can enhance the colours but still allow light to pass through.
Coloured window films from our Rainbow Range of windows films were also used on certain areas of glass partitions. Google wanted to achieve the effect of lava lamps, so The Window Film Company ® computer cut the coloured window film into shapes and then applied it directly onto the glass to get the final result. The colours chosen were to match Google's corporate colours. Although this type of window film does change the colour of the glass, it is transparent so you can still see through it.
Google also decided that they were going to name their meeting rooms after London tube stations. We printed red, blue and white ink onto the window film. The Window Film Company ® are one of only a few companies in the UK that can print white ink. This enables us to create logos, designs and window film graphics that would not normally be possible.
The reason that Google and other companies like them choose The Window Film Company ® to provide is all their window film, window graphics and glass manifestation is because they know that the quality of our products, installation and customer service is the best in the industry.
