The Window Film Company have been at the forefront of the window film industry since being established back in 1998, and have remained one of the key players by adopting new and innovative products. One such material is digital wallpaper and it was this fully printable product that was used to totally transform a large Central London office.

The brief was to apply a range of custom designed images to the internal walls of the premises, along with a number of inspirational and famous quotes - all designed to give the office a professional, instantly impressive and aesthetically pleasing feel.

Digital wallpaper starts life as a plain white roll, but using state of the art technology including a wide format UV printer, The Window Film Company can turn it into bespoke, full colour design solution that can be applied to virtually any smooth, flat surface. The client was able to supply high resolution versions of the artwork allowing The Window Film Company’s in-house print and design team to perfectly replicate the designs in perfect, crystal clear full colour.

The wallpaper covered over 20 linear metres of the large office, the imagery and colour creating an impressive and professional looking display throughout the premises. The wallpaper benefits from a paste-free application process which makes it suitable for installation to a vast range of surfaces, including often ignored locations such as cupboards and doors. It’s also a tough, durable and long lasting material making it suitable for use in high traffic locations such as reception areas and corridors.

In addition the wallpaper, The Window Film Company used coloured vinyl’s to replicate specially chosen quotes on walls throughout the office. 13 different quotes were created with the largest covering a space over 6 metres wide. The vinyl was computer cut to ensure that each letter was created at the exact size required by the client, before being finished by hand to make sure that each and every part of the job was completed perfectly ahead of installation.

The quotes and wallpaper were fitted by one of The Window Film Company’s installation teams over the course of a day, with the completed installation leaving the office almost entirely transformed – a fine illustration of what can be achieved with relatively new products such as digital wallpaper and more well-known materials like coloured vinyl.
