MISSPRINT RANGE RECOGNISED

Sep 23 2016

The Window Film Company was delighted to be named as a finalist at a prestigious awards ceremony in London this month.

The “MissPrint” range of designer window film was named as a finalist in the “Best soft furnishing” category at the 2016 House Beautiful Awards. The collaboration has seen a range of MissPrint’s eye-catching designs transferred to window film for the first time, creating a stylish decorative product or a unique privacy solution.

The film is printed in brilliant white ink onto Frostbrite frosted film - a durable product that once applied will give glass the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass. The film is long lasting and tough, making it perfect for usage in high traffic commercial surroundings such as glass partitions, or for demanding residential locations such as shower screens or bathroom windows.

MissPrint was created by mother and daughter Yvonne and Rebecca Drury-in 2005 and has grown to be a popular and desirable brand, with products sold in high street retailers such as John Lewis.

The awards ceremony took place at the British Film Institute in London, with awards handed out by the likes of TV Presenter Nick Knowles and designer John Rocha. Whilst it was retail giant Sainsbury’s that scooped the prize, it was a fine achievement to be named as a finalist. Founder of The Window Film Company Micky Calcott explained:

“We’re very proud of our collaboration with MissPrint. They are an exciting and innovative company and their designs look superb on window film. We’re proud of what is a beautiful range that is ideal for use in both commercial and residential settings. We’re hugely proud to have been recognised as part of these fabulous awards and we were privileged to be there alongside some of the biggest names in design and retail”
