A HAIR-RAISING DAY FOR CHARITY

Feb 10 2017

The head office of The Window Film Company was a sight to behold this week, as staff took part in a “Bad Hair Day” to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The event took place across the country, with participants of all ages venturing to school or work with an extraordinary array of eye-catching hairstyles. Staff paid for the privilege of showing off their bad hair, with all funds going to support the incredible work done at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

At the start of the week, the team were supporting another fabulous charity – The Children’s Trust – by attending a comedy evening at the Comedy Store in Leicester Square. In speaking of the two events, Managing Director Micky Calcott explained:

“We’ve enjoyed playing a part in two great events this week and it’s terrific to have been able to contribute to two incredibly worthy causes. We’ve supported The Children’s Trust for a while now, and the comedy event they put on in London was superb. Bad Hair Day is a fantastic idea and the team needed no encouragement to play a full part. We had a number of meetings, so there were a few raised eyebrows from our visitors, but once we explained the situation, I think they were suitable impressed!”
