WINDOW FILM STYLE AT THE RIVERSIDE

Nov 07 2014

Incorporating branding throughout premises can make for a professional and impressive look. Using cut graphics and window film is the ideal way of adding logos and other branding elements to glass, a method employed by a Stratford-Upon-Avon holiday park.

The Window Film Company were contacted by the popular Riverside complex where in addition to the branding requirement, there was also a need for privacy. After taking time to understand the look and finish required, it was agreed that both the branding and privacy elements would be achieved by utilising Frostbrite frosted film.

Frostbrite is The Window Film Company’s range of frosted window film, which when applied to glass provides a classic acid-etched look. The film was to be applied in bands across a number of windows, with the branding incorporated by computer cutting the logo from the film. By using specialist computerised machinery to cut the logo, it is possible to recreate perfect versions of the artwork, resulting in a professional and stylish finish.

The cut logo was to feature on 29 windows throughout the complex, whilst a further 38 panes were fitted with plain frosted bands, ensuring that manifestation legislation was met in a stylish and contemporary fashion. Manifestation is required on glass of a certain size in specific locations and is designed to make glass visible, thus avoiding accidents, damage to the glass and potential injury.

Manifestation has to provide a suitable contrast between the glass and the background, and  Frostbrite frosted film provides the ideal appearance, meeting legislative requirements whilst also adding an element of style to the glass.

The nature of Frostbrite frosted film means it is also an excellent product for providing privacy. Once applied, the film will prevent vision from both sides of the glass, leaving the glazing with the appearance of sandblasted glass at a fraction of the cost of replacement glass. Whilst obscuring the view from both sides of glazing, the film doesn’t block natural light, delivering a privacy solution without making rooms and spaces feel unnecessarily dark.

Privacy was required in several locations throughout the premises, including food preparation areas that boasted impressive circular porthole style windows. The film was fitted by The Window Film Company’s installers whose experience and attention to detail allowed them to deliver a perfect installation to both the circular and more standard shaped glazing. The installation took place at a pre-agreed time, arranged with the complex to ensure the minimum of disruption to guests and the daily operations of the resort.

By overseeing the entire process from initial brief, to the cutting and preparation of film, all the way through to the final installation, The Window Film Company are able to deliver a cost effective, efficient, professional and impressive service, delivering on the exact requirements of each customer.
