OCEAN BLUE DOWN BY THE RIVER

Phyllis Court is an exclusive members club, based in a fabulous location on the banks of the River Thames. The club is popular for weddings, conferences and other large scale events and as such prides itself on a stylish appearance. Large ornate windows are an integral part of the premises and when the appearance of a number of panes needed updating, The Window Film Company were called in to help.

The windows in question already featured frosted window film which served to ensure privacy; the frosted film preventing vision from both sides with its classic sandblasted appearance. The film also had the club logo and motto cut from it, delivering a stylish branding solution, but it had been decided that an extra element of style was required.

The brief was to transform the colour of the glass, without sacrificing the high levels of natural light that the frosted film allowed to pass through the glazing. With a clear understanding of what was required, The Window Film Company were able to recommend the rainbow range of transparent films. Available in a wide spectrum of colours, rainbow film will immediately change the appearance and colour of glass without blocking either the view of preventing light from passing through, perfect for use in this situation.

The club wanted the glass to be transformed to a rich blue colour, so samples of the appropriate colour were supplied, allowing the client to see the film in situ, observing exactly how it looked and behaved in the intended location.  After experimenting with the samples, the “ocean blue” version of the film was deemed to be the appropriate colour and an order was placed.

With the order confirmed, The Window Film Company’s operations team remained in contact with the club, organising an appropriate time for the installation to take place. As a busy facility with a reputation for excellence, it was vital that the installation took place in a timely fashion, with the work completed to the highest possible standard and with the minimum of fuss and disruption.

The rainbow film was installed by one of The Window Film Company’s experienced and fully qualified fitting teams, with the film prepared on site to ensure the perfect fit and finish. With the blue film in place, the glass was instantly transformed into a having a bright, contemporary and stylish appearance, with the existing frosted logo clearly visible and natural light continuing to pass through the glass.
