THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB: FROSTED FILM ON TV

Mar 15 2024

The Window Film Company is proud to have helped transform an office space in Buckinghamshire into a set for a major TV drama.

The Marlow Murder Club is a TV adaptation of a best-selling novel, based around the investigation into a murder in the Buckinghamshire town of Marlow. Ahead of filming, The Window Film Company was brought in to help transform the glass throughout an unused office facility to take on the appearance of a police station.

The project involved the creation and application of a repeated square pattern, created from Frostbrite frosted window film, to deliver a chequered manifestation effect. Frostbrite frosted film was also applied to glass partitions to deliver an authentic privacy solution on glass doors and partitions throughout the location.

As the name suggests, Frostbrite frosted window film has been specially developed to give standard glass the appearance of frosted glazing, providing a contemporary and stylish privacy and decorative solution. The film is long lasting and durable, making it perfect for use in high traffic locations, while it also delivers privacy without making your room or premises dark.

The patterned element of the film was created by The Window Film Company’s print and design team, using state-of-the-art computer cutting technology to ensure perfect uniformity throughout. The film was then fitted by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert installers, carrying out the installation ahead of filming taking place.
