The Hospice of St Francis

The Hospice of St Francis was founded in 1979 with the purpose of providing palliative care to patients and families living with a terminal illness in the local area. As well as providing care in the Hospice itself, nurses now support 350 patients a year in their homes, with a supportive care team providing additional help via visits and phone calls. The Hospice has yearly running costs of £3.7million, 80% of which comes from donations and fundraising. Chesham United Football Club

The home of Chesham United is just a short stroll from The Window Film Company’s headquarters and with a number of football fans working for the company it was decided that we should support “The Generals” if we could. Therefore, when Chesham United launched the corporate patron scheme, The Window Film Company were happy to sign up. As well as supporting the scheme, colleagues have also been supporting the team, heading to a number of games to cheer them on. Good luck to all involved at the club for the season!

Fundraising and Events

As well as continued support for a number of charities, staff from The Window Film Company regularly take part in fundraising events. All staff take part in the annual “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event, raising money for Macmillan cancer research by baking and then selling a range of delicious cakes whilst a number of colleagues have also taken part in sponsored events including the “Rat Race” and “Mud Pack Challenge” to raise funds for local charities.
