The client wanted a window film that would help to reduce heat and glare while also allowing a view out during the daytime, and after discussions about the heat reduction window films available, their performance and appearance, it was agreed that Optiview 05 would be the best product.
The chosen film is part of The Window Film Company’s Optiview range of high performance solar control window films. During daylight hours, the film has a reflective external appearance, and it’s this mirrored effect that serves to bounce away a percentage of the sun’s solar energy, preventing it from passing through the glass and adding to the internal temperature. The film also provides excellent glare reduction; filtering out the harshest of the sunlight. Think of the film as acting like a pair of sunglasses for windows!
In addition to heat and glare reduction, Optiview 05 is also a highly effective UV reduction film. UV rays are the single biggest contributing factor to fading and associated damage, so by reducing UV rays, this film will help to slow down the fading process – protecting upholstery and fixtures and fittings from potential damage.
