A church in Burgess Hill has transformed its glass entrance doors with the installation of custom designed frosted window film that improves both safety and appearance.
The Window Film Company created and installed an intricate decorative design using frosted window film on the church’s main glass entrance doors. The project combined attractive design work with an important practical purpose, helping the doors meet current glass manifestation marking requirements.
Glass manifestation markings are required under building regulations for certain glass panels and doors. These markings help make large glazed areas more visible, reducing the risk of people accidentally walking into the glass. By using cut frosted window film, the church was able to meet manifestation regulations while also adding a distinctive new feature to the entrance.
The decorative design artwork was supplied by the church and carefully recreated by The Window Film Company’s print and graphics team. Using computer cutting equipment, the Frostbrite frosted film was precision cut to match the exact dimensions and detailing, delivering a perfect recreation of the design with a stylish frosted effect.
Once produced, the frosted film was checked and hand finished before installation. The fitting was carried out by a team of The Window Film Company's qualified window film fitters, at a time and date agreed between The Window Film Company's Operations Team and the client.

It improves visibility on large glass panels, enhances privacy without blocking natural light and creates a stylish etched glass appearance at a fraction of the cost of replacement glass.
