The Window Film Company has completed the installation of custom printed frosted window film throughout a Birmingham office, creating a more private, professional and fully branded workspace for Kingscote Construction at Villa Park, the home of the world-famous Aston Villa FC.
The window film was required for three key reasons. The client needed to improve privacy across the internal glass partitions, meet Building Regulations for glass manifestation markings and create a more professional branded appearance throughout the office space.
Kingscote Construction are embarking on a significant project which will see them carry out extensive redevelopment works at Villa Park, meaning they will have a presence at the stadium for some time. It was in this dedicated part of the stadium that the work was required and carried out.
To achieve the required outcomes, The Window Film Company produced a bespoke design using Frostbrite frosted window film, a high performance window frosting film with digitally printed graphics featuring Kingscote Construction branding.
Frostbrite frosted window film gives clear glass the appearance of etched or sandblasted glazing without the need for replacement glass. The frosted effect blocks direct views through the glass from both sides while still allowing light to pass through. This effect and performance provided the privacy needed for meeting rooms and office partitions without making the workspace feel darker or enclosed.
The film was applied across the central section of the glazed partitions throughout the office, creating a consistent and professional appearance, delivering a prominent office branding solution.
The installation was also designed to meet manifestation marking requirements set out under Building Regulations. Manifestation markings are visual indicators added to glass to make large glazed areas easier to see and help prevent people from accidentally walking into clear glass panels.
The combination of frosted film and printed graphics created stylish and professional manifestation markings at the appropriate height on the glazing, while also delivering privacy and branding benefits with a single installation.
In addition to improving safety and privacy, the finished installation upgraded the overall appearance of the office, giving the glazing a clean, modern and fully branded finish.
All graphics were printed and finished by The Window Film Company's print and graphics team before being installed by the company’s experienced fitting team.
