The Window Film Company are experts in helping clients make the most of glass. One of the most effective ways of doing this is by applying printed graphics to windows; an option that is particularly popular in a retail setting, with shops and showrooms keen to ensure that their premises looks as impressive, professional and welcoming as possible.

This project saw The Window Film Company approached to deliver an updated solution for the large glass frontage of a showroom in Central London. The requirement was for film that would deliver an element of added security to the glass while also providing a suitably stylish look.

To achieve this it was agreed that there would be a dual application of window films. The first layer of film would deliver the safety/security element, with the second featuring the graphics.

The safety film is an optically clear product that is almost entirely invisible when applied to glass. It works by holding the glazing together in the event of accidental or malicious damage. If untreated glass is broken, it can fall in on itself, coming free of the frame and causing potentially serious damage or injury. With safety film from The Window Film Company in place, the film is held together in the event of breakage, keeping it in the frame and avoiding damage/injury, as well as making it harder to gain unauthorized entry to premises through broken glass.

The second aspect of the project was the printed graphics. Using artwork supplied by the client, the Window Film Company’s in-house graphics and print team were able to recreate the design perfectly, using state of the art wide format printers to create the exact finish and appearance required.

The stylish look was created by printing a frosted effect onto optically clear film, delivering a striking, fully branded appearance.

The films were installed to the premises by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert fitters, with the two products combining to deliver an extra layer of safety and security as well as a sleek, stylish and striking look.
