A custom printed frosted window film installation designed to provide privacy and manifestation while incorporating the client’s brand identity into the office glazing.
Requirement
The client’s office featured long runs of internal glass partitions separating meeting rooms and offices from the central corridor. While the glass helped create an open and modern workspace, it also meant there was little visual privacy within the rooms.
The client also wanted to introduce a branded design element to the glazing rather than using plain frosted film. The goal was to create a pattern that would reference the company’s logo while still functioning as practical manifestation across the glass panels.
Because the glazing was divided into multiple framed panes, the design also needed to align consistently across the panels to create a seamless pattern when viewed along the corridor.
Solution
A bespoke graphic design was created using elements of the client’s logo, forming a repeating pattern that could run continuously across the glazing.
This design was then printed onto a standard frosted window film. The frosted base provided the necessary level of privacy while the printed graphic introduced a subtle branded finish across the glass.
The film was applied specifically to the two central rows of glazing, leaving the upper and lower sections clear. This approach maintained a sense of openness while ensuring that the main sightlines through the glass were obscured.
Installation
The Window Film Company installation team prepared the glass surfaces by thoroughly cleaning the glazing to ensure a flawless application.
The bespoke printed frosted film was then carefully measured and applied across the central rows of each glass panel. Particular attention was paid to alignment so that the repeating design flowed consistently from pane to pane along the corridor.
By installing the film only to the central rows of glazing, the team achieved a balanced finish that provided privacy and manifestation while still allowing light to pass through the office space.
