An application of EVOKE® reeded window film from The Window Film Company is the highly effective and cost-efficient way of giving standard glazing the desirable appearance of reeded glass. This installation, at a South West London office, utilised EVOKE reeded window film to deliver both style and privacy.
EVOKE reeded window film is available in a range of finishes, and has been designed to be retro fitted to existing glass, to transform it to taking on the appearance of reeded glass – a look that continues to be increasingly popular in both residential and commercial settings.
As well as giving glass a striking new look, EVOKE reeded window film also delivers an elegant privacy film solution. The film has the appearances of repeated ridges that mimic reeded glass; and as the light passes through the film it refracts, serving to blur vision through the filmed glass. An added advantage is that this privacy is achieved without sacrificing natural light – an application of EVOKE will obscure vision while still allowing light to pass through glass.
On this occasion, reeded window film was required to deliver partial privacy for a run of glass partitions in a modern office space, with a contemporary look and feel required to match the décor and style of the premises.
The film was applied the middle panes of a series of glass partitions and doors, immediately delivering partial privacy by blocking the view through the central section of the glazing.
The installation was undertaken by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert fitters, with the work taking place at a time agreed between the client and The Window Film Company’s Operations Team.
Once in place, the film was effective immediately, delivering the required privacy, while also enhancing the appearance of the glass and elevating the look and feel of the office.
