External printed vinyl installation transforming vacant retail glazing at The Brunswick Centre in Bloomsbury into a cohesive, branded visual feature.
Requirement
Large areas of external glazing at The Brunswick Centre required screening while units were vacant.
They already had plain white film applied from when the tenant moved out, but the owner of The Brunswick Centre was not happy with that.
The glazing formed part of a prominent retail frontage in a busy public environment, meaning any solution needed to improve the visual appearance of the space while maintaining a professional, well-presented exterior.
The design also needed to incorporate centre branding and tenant information across multiple panes of glass, ensuring consistency across the elevation.
Solution
An external-grade printable vinyl was specified to provide full coverage across the glazing.
The Window Film Company carried out a full site survey, measuring each pane and providing accurate glass sizes to the building owners so their designers could create graphics that aligned precisely with the glazing layout.
A long-lasting external vinyl was selected that also features a specialist adhesive, allowing the graphics to be removed cleanly when units are leased without damaging the glazing.
Once final artwork was supplied, the graphics were printed in-house onto the vinyl and prepared for installation across the façade.
Installation
The Window Film Company installed the printed vinyl to the external glazing across the full elevation.
Each pane was carefully prepared before installation, with precise positioning used to ensure the designer’s artwork aligned accurately across adjoining panels and door sections to create a continuous visual finish.
Works were carried out efficiently within the live retail environment to minimise disruption while achieving a clean, consistent result.
