THE WINDOW FILM COMPANY BRANCH OUT

Jul 10 2012

The new state of the art school building is due to be complete by September 2012, and as part of the final stages, The Window Film Company was engaged to apply a wall graphic spanning the entirety of the structure.
The graphic was printed onto digital wallpaper and is over 13 metres high and over 50 metres wide. It was designed by students at the school and is intended to celebrate the schools multiculturalism, diversity and high aspirations for the students education and future. It depicts a large tree (four storeys high) with branches and multi coloured leaves stretching the length and breadth of the building.

The size of this job meant that meticulous planning was required at every stage. This included the organising of a site survey to assess the access equipment that would be required to carry out the installation as well as the careful printing and cutting of each of the 126 individual pieces that makes up the completed design.

Our professional installation team were on site for over a week, carefully applying each numbered piece of wallpaper to the corresponding location to ensure a stunning finished product. With the top of the graphic at a height of 13.5 metres, a range of access equipment was needed throughout the installation – as well as a head for heights!

The finished product is a fantastic illustration of what can be achieved when imagination and creativity meet expertise and know how. All of us at The Window Film Company hope the students enjoy their newly decorated school.
