SCHOOL SAFETY SECURED

Mar 05 2012

Safety film is used to ensure that if windows do break – a distinct possibility in locations with a lot of activity such as schools, the glass is held in position, vastly reducing the risk of any injuries being sustained. An application of safety film also serves to make the glass harder to break, the benefits of which are clear in an environment such as a school.

With over 14 years industry experience, The Window Film Company was able to make an assessment of the school’s current glazing and to advise which windows should be filmed and a recommendation of the most suitable film, before sending an installation team to carry out the work. In all, over 200 windows were filmed as part of the job.

Building regulations and legislation dictate that glass in an increasing number of locations requires to be of a safe standard, something that can quickly and efficiently be achieved with an application of window film.
