FUNKY FROST

Frosted Window Film from The Window Film Company is one of the most durable and effective films available, so when this London based client wanted a solution that would provide both an element of privacy and a decorative feature, the choice was clear.

The client in question had recently created a bar area at their London premises, which was to be used for hosting events and functions as well as providing staff and visitors with a place to relax away from the working environment. One part of the new look venue featured two large glass panels, and it was these expanses of glazing which required attention.

After discussing the project with the client, it was agreed that Frostbrite frosted film would be the most suitable option. Frostbrite is a high quality frosted film that in its natural state will give glazing the appearance of sand blasted or acid etched glass. It is also a very durable and versatile product, making it suitable for full colour printing. Having decided on the film type, the client provided our in-house graphics team with the design, using our advice and guidance on the best way to create the artwork. The artwork is one of the most important aspects of a graphics job as the standard of the file provided has a direct impact on the quality of the finished product. It’s because of this that our graphics team spend time with every client, ensuring that each piece of artwork is of a sufficient standard to obtain the best possible end result.

Once the artwork had been checked, a proof was supplied and approved, allowing the print process to begin.  By using a state of the art UV printer to print onto the frosted film, The Window Film Company can guarantee a perfect finish, with the print process and high quality of the ink providing a long lasting and vivid finish.

The film was printed in four panels and then fitted by one of our expert two man fitting teams. All our installations are organised by our operations team, who contact each client to organise a suitable date. Our fitters are fully trained and qualified, and pride themselves on installing our films to the highest possible standard with the minimum of disruption.

The result in this case was the creation of a bright, lively, exciting space, with the vivid colours giving the area a unique and vibrant feel.
