THE WINDOW FILM COMPANY DOES THINGS BY THE BOOK

When the products and services offered by The Window Film Company are coupled with the imagination of our clients and customers, the results can often be spectacular.  That was the case recently, when we were able to transform an ordinary looking cupboard into a well-stocked library!

Our client approached us with an idea, and wanted to know if we could make it happen. The concept was to print an image of a large bookshelf, well stocked with vintage looking books and then to apply it to the doors of a storage cupboard. After discussions with one of our dedicated Account Managers, it was decided that the most appropriate film would be a white vinyl.

The nature of white vinyl means it is the perfect surface on which to print detailed designs, graphics and images, whilst its adhesive properties made it the most suitable film for application to a wooden surface. With the cupboard doors in constant use, it was also important that the chosen film was as durable as possible.

Upon receipt of the artwork, The Window Film Company’s in house graphic team set about scaling the image to the appropriate size and preparing it for the perfect print.  Ahead of production, proofs were provided and minor adjustments made to ensure that the finished product was exactly what was desired.

The image was then printed on our state of the art UV printer, the high quality equipment and inks ensuring a crystal clear, sharp finish. The film was then fitted by one of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified teams of installers, the fitters using their skill and experience to complete the job perfectly.
