FIGHTING FADING WITH THE WINDOW FILM COMPANY

There are three main causes of fading; UV rays, heat and glare, leaving any premises with windows at risk from the unwanted fading effects of sunlight. In this case, our client was a shop based in Newmarket and with a host of valuable stock on display in the premises, fading was a major issue. The brief was to provide a film that negated all three causes of fading; UV, heat and glare, so after discussions with a dedicated account manager, a number of samples were sent to the owners, allowing them to apply the film to their glass and to see exactly how each one appeared and performed.

Having experimented with a range of anti-fade films, the decision was made to apply Climate 70 to the shop windows. Climate 70 is a high performance film that will provide protection from excess heat, will reduce glare and will filter out up to 99% of harmful UV rays. Critically, this film also allows good two way vision allowing visitors to see into the shop, and those inside to see out.

The film was installed by one of The Window Film Company’s expert teams of fitters, who were able to complete the installation with the minimum of fuss at a time pre-agreed in order to create minimum disruption to the day’s trade.
