The Window Film Company were approached for such a solution by a Birmingham based client who as part of an office fit-out, wanted a way to cover a number of wooden doors and panels. The Company had a number of Birmingham themed images that they wanted recreated in full colour. After consultation with an Account Manager, it was agreed that a vinyl would be the most appropriate product. The nature of the vinyl means it is long-lasting and durable, making it ideal for high traffic areas such as busy offices. The adhesive used also means that it can be safely fitted to a wide range of surfaces, including untreated wood, which was the surface requiring decoration.

The Window Film Company use a state of the art UV printer to recreate artwork in bright and vivid full colour, with vinyl an excellent surface for printing onto. With the images supplied to the in-house design and print department, proofs were created and approved before printing commenced.

The size of the areas to be covered meant that there would be a join in the film, but thanks to the experience and attention to detail of The window Film Company’s fitters, once the installation was complete the join was almost undetectable.

Once applied, the printed graphics provided the office an eye-catching and professional looking addition, bringing to life surfaces that would previously have been neglected.
