Shop fronts and glass facades provide the perfect opportunity to  showcase  your  business and The Window Film Company has 20 years of expertise in helping make the most of the space available. By using printed and cut graphics, it’s possible to create bold, branded displays that catch the eye of potential customers, perfectly illustrated by this project for a London jewellery store.

The shop owners wanted a display in two parts, one highlighting their unique product range and brand name, with a second section delivering a privacy solution along with details of the company website.

It was agreed that the privacy part of the project would be completed with The Window Film Company’s frosted window film. Once applied, frosted film gives glass the appearance of sandblasted glazing, blocking the view from both sides of the pane without sacrificing high levels of natural light. As the panel formed part of a window display, the aesthetic was vitally important, so it was decided that the silver etch variant of the frosted film should be used. This version of frosted film delivers a slightly more silver appearance, in turn providing a striking finish. The film also allows for precision cutting, allowing The Window Film Company’s in-house print and design team to cut the website address and several additional lines of text from the film ahead of installation.

The second aspect of the project was a need for cut text, a logo and two illustrations. With internal access not possible, it was agreed that the film would be applied to the external face of the glass, with white vinyl the chosen film. The film is a bright, vibrant colour meaning that it stands out and forms an eye-catching display.

Both parts of the project were installed by a team of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and vastly experienced fitting teams, who completed the job with the minimum of fuss and disruption.
