MULTI USE MANIFESTATION

During this unprecedented time The Window Film Company is proud to have delivered materials for use in a host of new ways, to help individuals and organisations navigate this difficult period. One of the latest situations in which our products have been used in a new situation is the use of manifestation on protective perspex screens.

Protective perspex barriers have become increasingly commonplace in retail outlets, designed to help protect both staff and customers from transmitting or contracting an illness.

While these screens are a useful way of combatting the spread of COVID-19, they can cause a few logistical issues, primarily because they are completely clear and can be sometimes difficult to immediately see! This can intern lead to accidents, so The Window Film Company has been supplying manifestation markings to help.

Manifestation markings are designed and supplied to make glass easily visible. They are required under building regulations for glazing of a certain size and in certain locations; usually glass partitions or doors. The regulations state that markings must be present in specific locations, must provide a contrast between the marking and the background, and must be of a minimum size.

The Window Film Company provides pre-cut manifestation for glass, comprising standard shapes such as squares, dots or solid bands or strips., making it easy to meet manifestation legislation. The markings are cut from our popular Frostbrite frosted film; a long lasting and durable product that once applied gives glazing the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass. 

As long as the requirements outlined above are met, manifestation can actually take on any form or size, allowing for the use of branded elements, logos or other designs. The Window Film Company uses state of the art print technology and precision cutting equipment to create either printed or cut (or both!) Manifestation markings, created to feature bespoke designs and styles.
