CUT VINYL GRAPHICS FOR SIGNAGE

Sep 30 2022

Little touches and extra detail can make a big impact when it comes to portraying a professional image. This is never truer than in the retail sector, where an appealing shopfront can be a vital component in attracting customers. The Window Film Company is experienced in ensuring that by using window film and associated products, glass can be made to look at its absolute best.

This project required the application of white lettering to a store shopfront, with the text providing details about the store, a jewellers, in eye-catching, bold yet sophisticated style.

The lettering was created by The Window Film Company’s in-house print and graphics team, using state of the art computer cutting technology to cut the letters from solid white vinyl. By using white vinyl, a long lasting and durable product, it was possible to deliver the clearly visible and striking text in a way that would stay in position and deliver a long lasting signage solution.

The Window Film Company offers a number of ways to deliver graphics for glass and other surfaces, including printing in full colour onto a range of different wind films, including solid vinyls such as the solution used for this project, and Frostbite frosted film. The latter film is often chosen when natural light is still required to pass through the glass - Frostbite will block the view from both sides of the glass by delivering a frosted effect, but will still allow natural light to pass through glazing.

Another way to deliver intricate and detailed graphics is to print onto optically clear window film. As the name suggests, optically clear film is virtually undetectable when applied to glass, and when printed onto it is only the printed elements that are visible. This project was completed by a team of The Window Film Company’s experienced installers, who fitted the film to the external face of the glazing, in turn delivering a bold, clearly visible and stylish set of graphics.
