LONDON SHOPFRONT PRIVACY AND STYLE

This project, where privacy was needed for a premises in London, approached The Window Film Company for a printed frost solution that would deliver two-way privacy and a stylish new look.

Frostbrite is a popular choice for privacy, as the frosted appearance blocks the view from both sides of the glass while delivering a contemporary appearance and without sacrificing high levels of natural light. It is also long lasting and durable, making it ideal for use in high traffic or demanding locations (it can even be used in bathrooms and on shower screens) and can also be printed on to create custom designs, to display branding or to act as signage.

All printing is carried out in-house by The Window Film Company’s print and graphics team, allowing for dedicated, personal attention when working on what is required, along with quick turn round times.

This project required the reproduction of one of The Window Film Company’s existing white printed designs to be replicated onto Frostbrite frosted film, for application to five large window panes at the front of the premises.

A proof was provided to the client before printing commenced, with each panel created to the exact sizes required, with the stylish geometric design printed in brilliant white ink onto the Frostbrite film.  Each piece was then installed by a team of The Window Film Company’s experienced fitting teams, with the film applied to the internal face of the glass to deliver the maximum lifespan for the film.

Once in place, the film was effective immediately, delivering an attractive, contemporary and professional looking appearance both inside and out, while also providing the required levels of privacy.
