VIBRANT VINYL FOR BESPOKE PRIVACY

The Window Film Company uses state-of-the-art print equipment to create bespoke window film solutions. This project saw the printing of a specific colour reference to deliver privacy for a property in the West Midlands.

The job required the addition of window film to over 70 square metres of glass to deliver privacy, with the added requirement of the film being an exact colour while also being suitable for external application.

To meet the requirements of the project, it was agreed that the best product would be high performance, hard-wearing vinyl. The tough nature of the film means that it is suitable for external application, while it can also be printed onto to create bespoke graphics and displays. On this occasion it was a solid colour that was required, with the RAL colour reference supplied by the client.

Using this reference, The Window Film Company’s in-house graphics and print team were able to recreate the exact colour required, printing it onto the vinyl to create a custom created solution, specifically for this project. A sample was sent to the client for approval, before production commenced.

Once created and cut, the film was applied to over 50 panes of varying sizes, totalling over 70 square metres of glass by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert installers.

The film delivered total privacy, blocking the view from both sides of the glass, while also delivering a stylish, bespoke exterior appearance, perfectly in keeping with the design and style of the building, matching exactly the colour requested by the client.
