Reeded glass continues to provide an incredibly fashionable and desirable aesthetic, with EVOKE® window film from The Window Film Company designed to deliver the classic art deco look to standard glass with one simple application.

Reeded glass (also referred to as fluted or ribbed glass) was incredibly popular in the early 20th century, throughout the art deco period and is a type of textured glass that features narrow, vertical grooves or ridges, delivering a striking look that also obscures detail without blocking light. It was, and continues to be a popular privacy option for this reason.

The popularity and resurgence of reeded glass as a trend has also been down to it’s unique and instantly recognisable aesthetic appeal. The lines and ridges deliver a look that is simultaneously retro and clean and modern, bringing an element or art deco chic into premises.

Thanks to EVOKE reeded window film from The Window Film Company, it is now easy to achieve this desirable look; an application of the film will immediately give glass the look of reeded or fluted glass.

It can also be easily cleaned and maintained, and should a different look be desirable in future years, the film can also be removed and the glass returned to its original state.
