No privacy? No problem!

Are you overlooked by neighbours? Do passers-by get a glimpse through your glass? Worried that the view of the bathroom isn’t blocked? Well, we understand privacy is required for a whole host of reasons, so we’re proud to offer a whole host of stylish solutions…

Window film is cost effective and easy to install as a DIY project, making it the ideal way of solving any privacy problems you have in the home. With film available in a variety of finishes, including beautiful illustrations by renowned designers, there is certain to be a film that suits your taste and style.

Frosted window film

One of the most popular types of window film for privacy is our Frostbrite range of frosted film. Once applied (a straightforward process, check out our installation videos on each of our product pages, such as this one) the film gives the glass the appearance of acid-etched or sandblasted glass, preventing the view from both sides of the glass with a contemporary stylish look.

The aesthetics can be enhanced further by choosing a film with a design. You can choose from a stunning range of cut designs (with the pattern precision cut from the film) or a white printed design, which sees the design of your choice recreated in perfect detail in beautiful white ink. You may also like to browse our exclusive ranges of designer collections, featuring ranges from sought after illustrators, designers and artists such as Jane Foster, Hannah Nunn, MissPrint, Mini Moderns and Charlene Mullen.

One-way privacy film

We’re often asked about one-way privacy film, allowing for vision from the inside out, while blocking the view from the outside in. So is it possible? Well, yes it is, but it’s important to understand how this product works.

One-way privacy window film is suitable for daytime privacy. The reason for this is that the film delivers privacy by giving the exterior face of the glass a reflective, mirrored appearance during daylight hours. However, there isn’t a reflective and a non-reflective side of the film – the reflective appearance is activated on the side of the film that is brightest, which during daytime, is always the external facing side of the film. At night-time, when there are lights on inside and its dark out, the effect will be reversed. Of course, with likelihood of curtains or blinds being closed at night, this doesn’t tend to be an issue.
