The Window Film Company At Stonehenge

The Stonehenge project involved an extensive manifestation installation at the new £27m visitor centre. The fabulous facility boasts sleek glass external walls throughout, meaning that manifestation markings were required to meet building regulations. The guidelines require that markings are placed at specific locations on glass partitions or walls, ensuring that the glass is clearly visible; subsequently avoiding potential accidents. In this instance, the manifestation markings were to take the form of the iconic English Heritage logo, with the logo to be reproduced in brilliant white and applied to over 100 linear metres of glass.

Each individual logo was computer cut and prepared by The Window Film Company’s in-house print and graphics team, with a total of 2,664 to be installed to the glass.

The work was carried out over a two-day period, with one of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and vastly experienced fitting teams ensuring that the logos were in the perfect position throughout the entire 100 metre perimeter of the visitor centre.

The work was carried out with care and precision while the attraction was open to the public; as is so often the case, an application of window film, graphics or manifestation doesn’t need to mean disruption to every day operations – vital for busy offices and businesses.

Once complete, the project ensured the visitor centre was fully compliant with manifestation regulations, with the rows of logos providing an unobtrusive yet stylish and appropriate addition to the glass.
