U's on the Up!

The 2016 European Football Championships are nearing a conclusion in France and once again the final stages will play out without England. Fortunately for us here at The Window Film Company, we’ve already had sporting cause for celebration, with one of our clients, Oxford United FC, winning promotion to Sky Bet League One.

The U’s finished runners up in League Two to secure promotion, capping a memorable season that also saw a fabulous FA Cup win against Premier League Swansea City. It’s a source of great pride that each time the team took to the field to deliver this success, they walked past full colour, floor to ceiling graphics, printed and installed by The Window Film Company.

The project saw the printing of eye-catching images, featuring action shots of each member of the Oxford United squad which were then installed to corridors within the stadium, most notably in the tunnel area – the very heart of the stadium complex.

A huge congratulations to Oxford United on their achievement, and good luck to them for their 2015/16 campaign. We'll be watching with interest!
