The Window Film Company carries out installations throughout the UK, with dedicated teams of installers fitting an incredible range of projects for an increasingly diverse range of clients. They are a vital component in the process, using a combination of experience and training to deliver the best possible finish, whatever the location or logistical challenge.

It’s the job of The Window Film Company’s dedicated operations team to keep the teams out on the road, with Operations Manager, John Turner, heading up the team for the past three years. He explains the importance of the fitters and their role in maintaining The Window Film Company’s reputation as an industry leader:

“A big part of my job is to deal with the logistical requirements of each project. This can include liaising with the client to organise a suitable date and time for install, arranging the correct access equipment, planning the installers’ daily routes and making sure all the appropriate paperwork is completed ahead of carrying out the work. It’s a job that requires excellent attention to detail, but is also a job that wouldn’t amount to much if I didn’t have absolute faith in the teams we’re sending out to carry out the work.

We have a well-established training programme that ensures all trainee fitters get the appropriate help to ensure that they are able to develop and progress their career, while also working with our experienced team members to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

All fitters are required to undertake mandatory training that equips them for virtually every eventuality, including working at height using powered access equipment. We’re constantly on the lookout for ways in which we can continue to develop even our most experienced team members although we believe there is no substitute for exactly that – experience.

As a Company we’ve fitted window film and printed graphics in almost every conceivable situation. It sounds like a cliché, but no two jobs are ever the same and it’s the ability of our team members to draw on their experience, utilise their training and use their initiative and judgement that means I am confident in sending them to any job that comes our way.”
