High Rise in High Res

Simply put, printed graphics can have a huge impact on the look and feel of your premises. Whether it is colourful graphics, branding elements or even helpful wayfinding signage, an application of graphics gives your premises an increased air of professionalism as well as creating a welcoming environment and memorable appearance.

The impact can be even greater when unique designs are utilised, with a project for a Hertfordshire based business providing a prime recent example.

The installation was a multi-facetted project, featuring three key elements; manifestation, branding and decoration.

The manifestation took the form of a plain frosted band, installed over 30 linear metres of glass. The glass was primarily made up of partitions, which had been used to create a number of meeting rooms and once installed the band of frosted film delivered an element of privacy as well as meeting manifestation requirements.

The second part of the job involved the print, cut and installation of the company logo, complete with additional branding elements. Once again, Frostbrite frosted film was the base material, with wording and coloured parts of the design printed directly onto the film. For added effect, part of the logo was cut from the film, delivering a stylish, professional addition to the glass.

The last piece of the project was the most eye-catching. A huge reproduction of a sketch featuring a busy high-rise skyline. The original artwork was printed onto optically clear window film in brilliant white ink, providing an attention grabbing and aesthetically pleasing finish. The decorative piece was created in 7 panels, with The Window Film Company’s dedicated graphics team manipulating the artwork to take into account the gaps between each pane, allowing the graphic to flow perfectly across each panel.

The finished install resulted in a unique and impressive decorative feature, taking pride of place in the entrance area to the premises. The bright, vivid, yet stylish appearance of the white ink provided a contemporary and striking finish, helping to deliver an air of style and professionalism.
