Introducing our new additions...

We are delighted to announce the installation of three new pieces of equipment in our graphics and print department. This new state of the art print and cutting equipment will help us to further still improve the service we provide our clients, delivering environmentally friendly, high quality products with rapid turn round times.

Here at The window Film Company we’ve always taken pride in using the best possible materials and equipment and this means not standing still – not relying on doing things the way we’ve always done them just because it works. We constantly review our processes and products and are always looking for ways in which we can improve, ultimately delivering more for our customers.

Part of this process has seen us take delivery of a new wide format latex printer. As the name suggests, this printer uses latex inks which are water based and therefore much better for the environment. The ink is odourless which is an obvious advantage for colleagues in the print department, but also means that once installed, the only sense your new graphics will impact on is sight!

The print process sees a layer of link laid down onto the media, before another layer is applied, passing through a fan and a heater to ensure that it is “set” and almost immediately ready for installation. The process also delivers a scratch proof coating, protecting your graphics from accidental damage and ensuring a longer pristine life.

We’ve also invested in two new cutters that will allow us to operate better and faster. The machinery can read from markings placed on the printed material by the printer and automatically configure itself to cut to the required shape and size. Not only will the new machinery help deliver a streamlined process, but it will result in a perfect, precision cut every time.

The reasoning behind this investment is simple. Simply put, this new equipment will help us to be faster, better and well equipped to offer new solutions as our industry continues to grow and evolve.
