The Window Film Company have utilised a unique product to help Watford Football Club create eye-catching designs and displays throughout their stadium concourse.

With attendances growing at Watford matches, the Hertfordshire club were keen to enhance the visitor experience, making a decision to decorate the walls in the stadium concourse. Having already installed digital wallpaper to corporate areas, The Window Film Company were contacted for ideas.

The areas to be decorated comprised exposed brick, meaning traditional window films and coverings weren’t suitable, so The Window Film Company suggested specialist brick vinyl. The product is designed specifically for application to brick and with state of the art print technology, it is possible to print high definition artwork onto it, creating a fully bespoke decorative solution.

The Football Club were able to supply a range of images, which were printed and installed to the stadium walls by The Window Film Company’s expert fitters. The process  involves heating the film as it is applied, allowing it to be worked into the natural contours of the brick, ensuring a tight bond and impressive visual finish.

Graphics were applied to three main areas of the Stadium. Colourful designs including images provided by young supporters were installed in the Family Stand, with a range of action images from the club’s history installed in bar areas and other hospitality facilities.

The installation instantly created an improved environment and atmosphere for visitors to the Stadium, with specially tailored images providing welcoming and interesting features, as well as reinforcing the clubs’ strong brand identity.
