Farley on Film

We’ve long believed that window film should be pleasing on the eye as well as effective and functional so, here at The Window Film Company, we’ve entered into partnerships with a number of established designers to deliver eye-catching and stylish ranges of film. The latest collaboration has seen us team up with the fabulous Kate Farley.

We recognise that tastes are always changing and evolving, with different styles and fashions influencing interior design and decorative choices. Whilst we pride ourselves on trying to stay in touch with the zeitgeist, we decided that the best way to make sure our offering is relevant and of the moment was to work closely with those that know the design world best; established designers!

Having already launched successful collaborations with MissPrint, Mini Moderns and Layla Faye, our most recent partnership is with Kate Farley.

Kate’s visually arresting designs are a departure from our existing ranges, offering designs that draw more heavily on a linear, geometric style, making them ideal for use, not just in residential settings, but in commercial environments, too. By applying Kate Farley designed window film to glass partitions, for example, it is possible to meet privacy and manifestation requirements by using designer style - giving your glass not only functionality, but also a dash of decorative flair.

The designs are created by printing in brilliant white ink onto our Frostbrite frosted film, with the entire process taking place at our Buckinghamshire headquarters. Each panel is bespoke, created to the exact specifications of the client, providing a custom made privacy solution or decorative addition for glass of any size.

Kate Farley has over 15 years of design experience and her work can be found in establishments such as the Barbican, the British Library the Tate Museum and a host of exhibitions. Her designs are described as having a “modernist graphic aesthetic” and she continues to create designs and prints for a range of applications including textiles, fashion and interiors.

The Kate Farley range will be expanded to feature new designs in the coming year, ensuring that The Window Film Company continues to offer not only the highest quality window film solutions, but the best looking and most stylish too.
